The BRIT Awards 2024 was the 44th BRIT Awards. Held on Saturday, 2 March 2024, at The O2 Arena in London, hosted by Clara Amfo, Maya Jama, and Roman Kemp.
Raye received the most nominations with seven in total, breaking the record for the most nominations received by a single artist in a year. British rappers Central Cee and J Hus tied for second with four each. Raye made history by winning six awards, the most by a single artist in one night. The 2024 BRIT Award statue was styled by Rachel Jones and produced by JM Enternational.
Major winners of the evening included Raye for British Album of the Year with “My 21st Century Blues,” presented by Jaime Winstone and Stuart Worden. Raye also won Song of the Year for “Escapism” featuring 070 Shake, presented by Monica Dolan and Jo Hamilton, and British Artist of the Year, presented by Jonathan Bailey. Jungle won British Group, presented by Green Day, and Dua Lipa won Best Pop Act, presented by Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy. Raye also took home the Best R&B Act award, presented by Jess Glynne and Aitch.
Additional winners were Calvin Harris for Best Dance Act, presented by Alison Oliver and Charli XCX, and Bring Me the Horizon for Best Rock/Alternative Act, presented by Luke Evans and Marisa Abela. Casisdead won Best Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act, presented by Kingsley Ben-Adir and Ashley Walters, and Raye was named Best New Artist, presented by Joe Keery. SZA was named International Artist of the Year, presented by Joanne Froggatt, and Boygenius won International Group of the Year, presented by Yinka Bokinni and Jack Saunders. Miley Cyrus won Best International Song for “Flowers,” presented by Rob Beckett and Bimini Bon-Boulash, while The Last Dinner Party won the Rising Star award. Raye was also honoured as Songwriter of the Year, presented by Clara Amfo, and Chase & Status were Producers of the Year, presented by Vick Hope and Ivan Toney. Kylie Minogue received the Global Icon Award, presented by Dua Lipa.
