Lauren Laverne announced the Nationwide Mercury Prize '2007 Albums of the Year'. Addressing an expectant audience at The Hospital Club in London, Lauren revealed the twelve albums shortlisted for this year's Nationwide Mercury Prize. They were:

Young Knives – Voices of Animals and Men
